MWC Top 50: No. 39 Hawaii DE Beau Yap

We are counting down the top 50 players in the Mountain West this season and are currently at the No. 39 spot.

This summer, the Mountain West Connection crew is counting down the top 50 players heading into the 2014 Mountain West season. The criteria is objective because a top 50 list could be considered who's the best is different per person, so this list will vary.

Coming in at No. 39 is Hawaii defensive end Beau Yap. He makes the list due to his proficiency to get to the backfield. Last year, he had 5.5 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss, and also he had a pair of forced fumbles and multiple quarterback hurries.
