Bulldogs head coach Tim DeRuyter has made good use of his Texas connections to strengthen Fresno State's recruiting process in the last couple years, and today he landed another future piece for his secondary with the commitment of Lake Travis's James Bailey.

Listed as a safety at 24/7 Sports, the six-foot and 192-pound Bailey becomes the second defensive back in next year's recruiting class after local product A.J. Greeley. He's also listed as an outside linebacker at certain outlets, and it's easy to see why the coaching staff is excited about his potential versatility:
