2014 World Cup: United States falls to Belgium, 2-1, in overtime

The United States is looking to make it to the World Cup quarterfinals for the first time since 2002 as they take on Belgium.

First, this is mandatory viewing for this United States vs. Belgium game this afternoon.

Now that everyone is appropriately pumped up for this game, people need to know that Jozy Altidore is "ready and available" after pulling his hamstring in Team USA's opening win against Ghana. This is big news as is that Belgium has not been playing at their best, and that could be troubling if they finally show up and play their best game of the year.

Belgium has the talent to win and is the better team than the United States, but they have not shown that at all in this World Cup. Team USA has been good at times but they have had their own issues in all three of their games.

However, with the power of the Waffle House behind us all, no way Belgium can get the win:

Here are the details of the game.
