San Diego State Football: WR Jacoby Herring commits to SDSU for 2015

The 6-foot-4 Citrus Hill High School wide receiver verbally committed to SDSU for 2015 via Twitter today.

Yes--another SDSU 2015 football recruit. And yes--another very good one.

The Aztecs just picked up a verbal commitment from Jacoby Herring, a 6-foot-4, 156-pound wide receiver from Citrus Hill High School in Perris, California. Herring chose SDSU's offer over offers from Colorado State, UNLV and Washington State.

Rivals.com gives Herring three stars. According to Hudl, Herring runs a 4.60 40-yard dash. In his junior year at Citrus Hill, Herring caught 58 passes for 1,216 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Herring's friend Mike Bell verbally committed to SDSU one week ago. SDSU also picked up Jerry Chaney, another 2015 wide receiver recruit, on the same day Bell verbally committed.

Here are highlights from Herring's junior season via Hudl:
