Damion Wright, a 6-foot-1, 195 pound recruit of Los Angeles didn’t wait long to commit to the Broncos during a campus visit Friday. He liked what he saw and committed. Wright will be a senior at Bishop Mora Salesian in Los Angeles and play quarterback and/or safety this fall.

He is the kind of athlete that can get it all done. Last season he was a quarterback at Jurupa Hills High School out Fontana, California where he passed for 2,512 yards and 22 TDs. He also carried the ball for 1,001 yards and 18 TDs.

According to Rivals, a number of Pac12 schools were just starting to show interest, but Boise State was the first to offer. His only other FBS offer so far is from Idaho, which offered him a quarterback slot. He is expected to fill the nickel defensive back position for the Broncos.
