NCAA baseball tournament: A look back at the Mountain West in the College World Series

Let's take a look back at how the Mountain West has fared in the leagues young existence in the NCAA baseball tournament.

Denis Poroy

The Mountain West is sending two teams to the NCAA baseball tournament in San Diego State and UNLV, and it this marks the fifth time that the league has sent more than one team to the tournament. Most of the success came with TCU who made it to three super regional rounds, and one College World Series which TCU made it to the semifinals in 2010. TCU also is the only Mountain West team ever to make it out of the regional round.

San Diego State is hoping to improve off of their performance last year where they lost both games in the regional round, and UNLV is making their first appearance in the NCAA tournament since 2005.

Take a look back at the history of Mountain West teams fared in the NCAA tournament.
