2014 NCAA Tournament Mountain West Betting Odds

Here on the first day of the NCAA Tournament, Vegas is going crazy with the odds. Let's keep up and see what's supposed to happen to our Mountain West teams.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

March 20, 2014

9:57 PM ET, New Mexico State at San Diego State (-7), O/U-126- Well, at least the Aztecs have a "easy" team to start the bracket.  That's a hefty spread considering that this is in a neutral location, but outside of Sim Bhullar, the Aztecs are bigger, stronger and overall a better team.

My Pick - SDSU 75, NMSU 65

March 21, 2014

1:40 PM ET, Stanford at New Mexico (-3), O/U-137- New Mexico is severely underseeded thanks to the confusion of the Selection Committee.  Stanford is a good team, but expect the trio of Lobo scorers to handle the Cardinal.

My Pick  - New Mexico 73, Stanford 61

Now, if you're looking to spend some money in hopes of either one of these teams winning the National Championship game, I've got news for you: Don't do it unless you like slim chances.

Odds on winning National Championship game (as of 2:58 PM ET, March 20, 2014):

San Diego State - 65/1

New Mexico - 115/1

Have fun with those odds!
