The New Mexico Bowl came out with its opening line between Utah State and UTEP, and the Aggies open up as an 11-point favorite over the Miners. As confident I am that the Aggies will win this game I don't think they will cover the spread as big as it is. A combination of UTEP's strong ground game and Utah State's hit and miss offense will most likely keep this game close.

This year Utah State is 6-7 Against the spread while UTEP is 9-3 against the spread. I would take Utah State to win outright but not cover unless the line drops to around -7. As for the O/U I feel like it's a toss up but combined the teams are averaging 55.7 points a game which would put them comfortably on the over side.
