UTEP's rushing attack, 34th in the nation, is led by sophomore back Aaron Jones and senior back Nathan Jeffery. Jones who averages 5.7 yards a rush will test the Aggies rush defense. Senior quarterback Jameill Showers is in his second season as a starter. Showers has struggled with accuracy posting only a 55% completion percentage, but has been able to make some plays on the ground as the teams third leading rushers. UTEP's defense has struggled this year allowing 21 or more points in nine games and 30 or more in six.
