Boise State is 30 minutes away from not only winning its first outright Mountain West title, but also from earning a bid to a New Year's Day bowl game, likely the Fiesta Bowl. The Broncos have been dominating Fresno State the entire game and lead 21-0.
Boise State got on the board first with a 20-yard touchdown run by quarterback Grant Hedrick. Fresno State had a chance to tie the game up at seven but quarterback Brian Burrell threw an interception in the end zone.
Boise State got on the board next with a Tanner Vallejo 63-yard interception return to make it 14-0, and the interception took a big effort for Vallejo to make it to the end zone.
Fresno State made another drive to get deep into Boise State territory but Boise State's defense stepped up again and blocked the field goal attempt.
Jay Ajayi may have sealed the game with this 9-yard touchdown which gave the Broncos a 21-0 lead.
Fresno State's offense has been slowed down all night and in particular their running attack between Marteze Waller and Josh Quezada, the duo has just 30 total yards on the ground. Quarterback Brian Burrell is having a solid game by completing 11 of 14 passes for 143 yards but the two interceptions have hurt the Bulldogs the most.
