San Diego State head coach Steve Fisher, Dwayne Polee II and team physician Allen Richburg addressed the media today regarding Polee's health after he collapsed and seemingly lost consciousness in the first half against UC Riverside on Dec. 22.

Polee was held overnight at a local hospital and was released the next day to await test results. Last night Fisher told the U-T San Diego that there was no timetable on Polee's return.

Fisher said Polee almost collapsed last December during practice and missed two games as a result. He said doctors at the time cleared Polee to play basketball. He said doctors also ran Polee through tests at the beginning of summer and they cleared him then, too.

Dr. Richburg said that it's too early to determine whether last year's incident and this year's incident are in any way related.

The Aztecs host San Diego Christian College tonight. Polee will watch from the bench.
