UNLV had to stage a comeback down eight with just over six minutes. That’s when Cody Doolin stepped up.
The senior point guard finished with 15 points and three assists. But he helped tie the game at the buzzer by finding Dwayne Morgan inside.

Then in a tie game in overtime, Doolin went coast to coast to hit the game winner with 0.4 left on the clock.

Of course when asked about the final play of regulation, Doolin lauded how great of a play Morgan made.
Doolin’s heroics saved UNLV from a buzz kill loss prior to UNLV’s games against Utah and Arizona in the next seven days. The Rebels are now 7-2 on the season, and will need a big win in the non conference to keep hopes alive for the NCAA Tournament. Getting over ranked Utah or Arizona would help build the Rebels resume.
