The USA Today Sports All-America Team selection has been released and three Mountain West players have received honors. Colorado State WR Rashard Higgins was named to the first team, and Utah State LB Zach Vigil and Boise State RB Jay Ajayi made second team.

Earlier this week Higgins and Boise State safety Darian Thompson were named to the CBS Sports College Football All-America team. Higgins is also a Walter Camp All-America first team selection.

In the USA Today All-America selections the Atlantic Coast Conference had the most selections with 12, followed by the Big Ten Conference with 10 selections, the Southeastern Conference with nine, the Pac-12 Conference with eight and the Big 12 with seven. The other 4 were the three Mountain West selections and one from Conference USA.
