After weeks and weeks of Colorado State winning games they are finally ranked this year and they join Marshall as the only other non-power team to be in the top 25. The Rams continued its winning stream of eight games after toppling Hawaii, 49-22, Saturday night.
Boise State is also receiving votes in the coaches poll with seven points and the Broncos might have earned more points had they not struggled to defeat New Mexico. The Broncos also received a 25th place vote in the AP poll.
The ranking for Colorado State is a great goal and it is the first time that the Rams have been ranked in over a decade, but it does not help the Rams get any closer to earning a spot in a New Year's Day bowl game since Boise State still is in the drivers seat to win the Mountain West.
