Keys to the game:

SDSU: You do you, Aztecs. You just do you.

The Aztecs need to keep it simple today. They just performed well below expectations in their 30-14 loss at Nevada and they play arguably their biggest remaining game on the schedule next Saturday at Boise State. They need a win; they need one badly. Idaho has big-time problems stopping the run, allowing 256.1 yards on the ground per game. Yes, Donnel Pumphrey struggled last week, coughing it up twice. But he and his backfield companion Chase Price still form the strength of this offense. Offensive coordinator Bob Toledo should just keep it simple today and pound his best offensive players against a weak run defense.

Idaho: Pass 'til your arm falls off

The Vandals aren't having a good year; that's no secret. But quarterback Matt Linehan has a great arm, tossing for 2,001 yards so far this season. Linehan, a freshman, struggles with accuracy, though. He's thrown 14 interceptions compared to nine touchdowns; he's thrown six interceptions and zero touchdowns in his last four games. But if he can stay accurate for one full game today, he'll give his team a chance to win. He has the ability to play the breakout game Idaho needs: he completed 28 of 42 passes for 381 yards, three touchdowns and just interception against Western Michigan earlier this year.
