It was a long time coming, but three-star athlete Dwayne Parchment announced his college decision via Twitter two days ago: the Fontana, California, native declared to play for the San Diego State Aztecs in 2015.
I talk about it with my family and prayed about it and I blessed to say I'm committed to San Diego state go Aztecs ⚫️ pic.twitter.com/zyNNwqknyW

Parchment's Twitter page is full of congratulations and shout-outs from SDSU fans, friends and fellow Aztec commits like wide receiver Jerry Chaney.

SDSU offered Parchment a scholarship last July -- the summer after his breakout junior season at Henry J. Kaiser High School in Fontana, California. As a junior, Parchment recorded 42 tackles as a defensive back and gained 7 yards per carry as a running back, according to The Press-Enterprise. It also doesn't hurt that he runs a 4.50 40-yard dash.
ESPN.com gave him three stars and ranked him the 123rd-best running back in the 2015 class. 247sports.com also gave Parchment three stars but ranked him the 90th-best 2015 running back. Rivals.com gives him three stars, too, but doesn't assign him any type of ranking.
Parchment chose to accept SDSU's offer over offers from Boise State, Nevada, Utah State, Colorado and Idaho. Georgia had also expressed interest in him.
Parchment is SDSU's 11th 2015 commit.
