In a game that was close throughout, it looked like the Utah State Aggies would walk away with a win. Instead, a three-pointer at the buzzer by Tyler Les sent the game into overtime and eventually gave the UC Davis Aggies the victory.

Utah State did another good job of getting off to a fast start, a big reason why they were able to keep the game close. They shot 55 percent (5-of-9) from 3-point range in the first half and 42 percent overall in the half. They continued to shoot well in the second frame as well, shooting 48 percent in the half. They ended the game shooting 41.5 percent overall in the game.

The other key was rebounding. The team did a great job on the boards, only losing the rebound battle by 4 and gave up 12 second chance points. Elston Jones led USU in rebounds with 9 while Josh Fox led UC Davis with 9 rebounds as well.

Even though it was close, Utah State went into the half with the lead for the second straight game, going into the break up by 2. Jalen Moore led USU in points with 17 while Fox led UC Davis and was the overall leader in points with 23.

USU was up by three points with four seconds to go before Tyler Les hit a three-pointer that sent the game into overtime. In the extra frame, Utah State was outscored 13-6 and lost by a score of 77-70.

The loss moves Utah State to 3-2 on the season. They will return to the Spectrum for their next home game on Dec. 2 against in state rival BYU. This will be the Cougars first visit to Logan since 2011 when they were defeated, 69-62. The game will tip-off at 7 p.m. MT and will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.
