Mountain West Friday night open thread

There are a pair of key football games and also a pair of non-conference tournament basketball action and it all gets started at 7 p.m. ET for hoops and then football kicks off at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Air Force and San Diego State are matching up and each school is looking to stay in contention for its respective division, and in the other game the same goes for Utah State who is hosting San Jose State.

In hoops, UNLV is taking on Stanford in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic and New Mexico is going up against George Mason and without guard Cullen Neal who suffered an ankle injury on Thursday.
