Boise State will get in on the action of a big time out of conference tournament in 2015 as they take part in the 2015 Wooden Legacy tournament in Orange County, California, in the Honda Center and on Nov. 26, 27 and 29. This is a bracketed tournament with eight total teams, but the pairings have not been announced.
The seven other teams included are Arizona, Boston College, Evansville, Michigan State, Providence, Santa Clara and UC Irvine. This will be a big test since next year's Broncos team will be losing key players such as Anthony Drmic and Derrick Marks. This will allow a young Boise State squad to go up against some good competition to get them ready for Mountain West play.
Boise State did go to the Diamond Head Classic last year where they made it to the championship game before losing to Iowa State. Outside of going to that tournament in Hawaii, the Broncos have not played in a major pre-season tournament in over a decade when Boise State participated in the 2000 Pearl Harbor Classic.
