Boise State ventures into the non-conference schedule one last time as they host BYU Friday night (9 p.m. ET, ESPN). These two teams are in the midst of a 12-game series and is forming sort of a rival as the Cougars and Broncos are possibly the most marquee matchup amongst those schools on the outside looking in of a power conference.
BYU has lost three in a row and is struggling but they get back starting running back Jamaal Williams, and he will be the player that the Boise State defense will want to key in on and want to stop. If Boise State can slow down Williams and force BYU quarterback Christian Stewart to throw the ball a lot then the Broncos should be able to by at least a touchdown.
