Mountain West football Week 9 odds

The Mountain West dips back into non-conference play for two of the five matchups this week. Boise State hosts BYU on Friday night and San Jose State goes across the country to take on Navy.

This was a must see Friday night matchup between two o the top non-power five teams, but injuries have caused BYU to lose three in a row. Gotta lean toward Boise State winning and covering.

Shocking that this line opened as a 10-point favorite toward Navy, and even seeing it go down to nine makes this a great play for San Jose State to cover.

UNLV can not catch a break. Despite Utah State down to it's third-string quarterback the Rebels are almost a three-touchdown road underdog. Tempted to take UNLV here but as I said many times I am no longer trusting the Rebels.

Wyoming is on a downward trend, at least a little bit, but this is a rivalry game. On the other hand, Colorado State is playing quite well. The Rams are not blowing teams out this year, so lets take Wyoming at this point in the week.

Nevada has not fared playing at Hawaii and that might be in consideration with this four-point line. The Wolf Pack's offense is just too good and the Warriors is so bad and that lends myself to think that Nevada will easily cover.
