Boise State football recruiting: DB Marnez Ogletree commits to being a Bronco

The Broncos get verbal commitment from Fullerton College (CA) transfer

Brian Losness-USA TODAY Sports

Marnez Ogletree, a 6-0, 195 pound cornerback from Fullerton College in California committed to Boise State on Thursday, and announced his commitment via twitter:

Ogletree will enroll in January as a redshirt junior. But the decision to redshirt could change with senior cornerbacks Bryan Douglas and Cleshawn Page both graduating, so there is a chance that he could see playing time sooner than later.

According to Rivals, so far this season in just six games Ogletree has had 29 tackles, a pair of tackles for a loss, forced a fumble, grabbed one interception and had five pass breakups. He looks to fall in line with the recent tradition of having a very secondary for Boise State.

Before committing to the Broncos Ogletree was receiving interest from Cal, Hawaii, Utah, and UAB.
