This cross conference match up looks to provide a lot of offensive fireworks. These are two pretty good defenses as well, but the question is which defense is going to break first. Nevada coming off a game where there was no defense played on either side losing a 51-46 shootout to Boise State.
Nevada is lead by Cody Fajardo who is the beast dual Threeway quarterback in the league. Last season the teams frustrated him and beat him up pretty good. He did have a long touchdown that forced them to stay honest on defense. The tmRams will need to contain him and a three headed rushing attack in order to win this game.
The Rams on the other end will need to focus on the passing game. Players other than Rashad Higgins will need to catch the ball because Nevada will key in on him. Dee Hart and Jason Oden will need to contribute since Treyous Jerrells likely won't likely be playing. The Rams need to win the battle in the trenches and keep Garrett Grayson from being hit others it could be a long night for the Rams
Prediction: Colorado State 34 Nevada 31
