Fresno State's season is slowly turning around as they are looking to erase that poor 1-3 start to non-conference play and improve to 3-0 in league play and also take its record above .500 for the first time all year. The Bulldogs are favored to get the win over UNLV as they are a 9.5-point road favorite.
UNLV has struggled to find any offense this year and have scored over 20 points just one time all year, and that occurred in the Rebels 48-34 loss to Northern Illinois. Things get worse now that star wide receiver Devante Davis is out for an extended period of time, and is out for this game Friday night.
The Rebels defense is not that great either and this will give Fresno State quarterback Brian Burrell even more confidence to improve now that he is the entrenched starter going forward for the Bulldogs.
This game could get ugly in the second half, so my recommendation is to tune in early to see how this game shakes out and if UNLV has a good game plan to make this a close game.
