Kansas vs. San Diego State open thread

The No. 21 ranked San Diego St. Aztecs go on the road to take on No. 16 ranked Kansas Jayhawks Sunday afternoon. The game tips off at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS and is streaming on CBSSports.com, so no reason to not tune in.

San Diego State is the hottest team in the Mountain West with an 11-1 record and their only loss came in their third game of the season to No. 1 Arizona, and that game was a close 69-60 outcome. Kansas is 9-3 with losses to Villanova, Florida and Colorado; the latter two were on the road.

This is one final chance for the Mountain West to show up in the non-conference schedule. There have been only a few victories against ranked teams (at the time they played) and San Diego State owns to of them with victories over Creighton and Marquette. A win over Kansas by San Diego State would even more solidify that the Aztecs are the team to beat in the Mountain West, well alongside New Mexico.
