2014 Boise State football recruiting: Broncos making one last push for QB Brad Kaaya

Boise State is making one last ditch effort to try to land four-star quarterback Brad Kaaya.

Make no mistake, Boise State really wants four-star quarterback Brad Kaaya to commit to Boise State. The news on Kaaya has been light and he is still committed to Miami, however he has not spoke since his visit to Boise last week. Kaaya also hosted the Boise State coaching staff on Tuesday, and the visit was said to be very well received, according to 247Sports.

The known items about Kaaya is that he is still planning on going to Miami while USC and UCLA are out of the running since they are set at the quarterback position. Also, in the 247Sports update on Kaaya they give the impression that he is really torn between Miami and Boise State. If that is the case then this is very good new for Boise State.

Boise State is not waiting around and has offered and earned a verbal pledge from Florida quarterback Alex Ogle. Despite Boise State now having two quarterbacks in the 2014 class, the other being junior college transfer Tommy Stuart -- getting a commit from Ogle does not close the door on Kaaya.

One can possibly gather that with Boise State landing Ogle means that the news on Kaaya may not be as strong as previously thought. This update on Kaaya considering Boise State actually came out prior to Ogle making his commitment, so something could have changed the mind of the Broncos staff. Also, Boise State wants to get their ducks in a row and not be left in the cold with no high school quarterback commits in this class.

For what it is worth, four experts from 247Sports predict Kaaya will end up at Boise State.
