Boise State has been in a lurch over the past few weeks trying to land a quarterback, but the Broncos have finally made an offer to one. Offensive coordinator Mike Sanford was impressed by Reno, Nev., quarterback Brock Raggio, but the offer was not made to him.

Sanford's offer went out to Jensen Beach, Fla., signal-caller Alex Ogle after reviewing an evaluation, and Ogle accepted Boise State's offer immediately over the phone. Ogle averages out to be a three-star recruit, yet his only other offers he had were to Florida Atlantic, Florida International and UMass.

Ogle was extremely excited about Boise State wanting him:

"My family is calling me, my parents are crying, this is a dream come true for me," Ogle said. "It's just all so amazing and shows that hard work pays off. This is just amazing, I can't wait to visit Boise State this weekend and sign on Wednesday."

Sanford also called Ogle the perfect quarterback for Boise State, but what else would a coach say when trying to get a kid to come to campus. However, Boise State coaches do feel that Ogle is a big steal for their class.

With Ogle accepting the Boise State offer it likely means that Raggio is not going to get an offer from Boise State, but according to 247Sports this has no effect on the Broncos plan to make one final push to land four-star quarterback Brad Kaaya.

Here are  a good 10 minutes of Ogle highlights:
