2014 Boise State football recruiting: QB Brad Kaaya quiet, but signs still point to Miami

Boise State fans were hoping that once Brad Kaaya saw what Boise State had to offer would change his mind about attending Miami. Well, probably not.

News about four-star West Hills, Calif. (Chaminade) quarterback Brad Kaaya and his official trip to Boise State have been quite; partly because Kaaya has not granted too many interviews.

There was some hope when Scout.com's Brandon Huffman said on our podcast Sunday night that Boise State could still be in the mix, and then Justin Hopkins of 247Sports was reporting that Kaaya still had Boise State as a possibility.

Then taking a look at Kaaya's Twitter feed and he is tweeting at 2015 Miami recruits, so it is pretty safe to say that Boise State is not earning his services.

This puts the Broncos in a bind since their only quarterback in this class is junior college transfer Tommy Stuart, and he is reportedly being given preferred walk-on status, not a scholarship. One thing that is clear is that Boise State can not come up empty handed at the quarterback position in this class. Nick Patti transferred, Joe Southwick graduated and Grant Hedrick is going to be a senior.

One name that could be on Boise State's radar is Brock Raggio out of Reno, Nev., he has interest from Nevada, Boise State, UCLA and UNLV. None of those schools have offered. Yet, some feel that the pro-style quarterback could be a huge steal for whoever lands his services.
