The New Mexico Lobos have added a new player to their 2014 recruiting class in Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian wide receiver Chris Davis. The 5-foot-10-inch, 175-pound wide receiver committed to the Lobos on his visit weekend, according to Scout.com.
Davis chose New Mexico because he felt comfortable:
"It was the perfect place for me," said Davis. "It felt like a home away from home. The coaches and players were awesome and I loved the city so it was a perfect fit."
In his senior season, Davis hauled in 37 receptions for 383 yards and a touchdown. Davis is the second wide receiver in the current Lobos class and joins Aaron Molina, also a two-star wide receiver.
New Mexico also landed a verbal commit on Sunday when offensive lineman Jack Ziltz from Illinois pledged to be a Lobo.
Here are highlights of Davis during his senior year.
