According to the GoAztecs.com Twitter page and TheJetsBlog.com, San Diego State fullback Chad Young has signed with the New York Jets. Young was the 18th best fullback 2014 draft prospect, according to CBSSports.com. Young stands 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 240 pounds. He ran a 4.88 40-yard dash at SDSU's pro day and recorded 34 reps of 225 pounds.

Young ran 22 times for 115 yards and three touchdowns in 2013. He also caught 15 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown. But Young is most known for his blocking ability.

After walking on to the team in 2010, Young started from 2011-2013. He paved the way for now-Denver Bronco Ronnie Hillman, who ran 1,711 yards in 2011. Young also blocked for the Walter Kazee-Adam Muema duo that ran nearly 2,500 yards in 2012. He also led an injured Adam Muema and freshman Donnel Pumphrey to more than 2,100 yards this past season.
