Just a week ago New Mexico Lobos center Alex Kirk submitted paperwork back on April 2 to test the NBA Draft waters to see if it would be worth it for him to give up his senior year and enter the NBA Draft. Kirk has hired an agent meaning that he will indeed be giving up his final year of eligibility, as first reported by The Lobo Lair.

Kirk was a big piece in New Mexico's success over the past two seasons which featured two trips to the NCAA Tournament, but bowing out in the round of 64 each time. This past summer Kirk upped his game by being invited to the United States roster at the World University Games.

This past year for New Mexico he averaged 13.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game and also was named to the third-team all-Mountain West selection, and the defensive team, too.

Not sure what info Kirk received back from the NBA because when looking at various mock drafts he is not being considered at all in the two-round draft.
