For the first time all season, the Mountain West standings are becoming quite clear and now we take a closer look at the odds of each team winning the league and winning out. We are using ESPN's Football Power Index for these numbers below.
The order of these teams remain the same from last week when we look at the chances to win the conference. One very interesting note is that Boise State's chance to win out dropped five percentage points as did their chances to win the conference going from 55 to 44 percent.
Colorado State had the opposite change by jumping up from 22 percent to 37 to win out and up from 10 percent to 18 percent to win the conference. In the West, Nevada has the best chance to win the division after they topped San Diego State last week.
This week's slate of games do not look to have an upsets happening, but when that is said that is when the underdog comes out of nowhere to shake things up again.
