The Mountain West is nearly playing all games within the league, and the one exception is San Diego State hosting Idaho midday on Saturday.
The action begins on Friday evening with a battle of the true freshman as Utah State travels to Wyoming for an evening matchup with Aggies quarterback Kent Myers and Cowboys running back Brian Hill. These two freshman had a great game last week and we will see if the two can keep it up.
The rest of the slate takes place Saturday afternoon to evening. Air Force takes on UNLV to continue its turnaround tour, but that game is streaming only. Idaho and San Diego State is probably worth watching for the first quarter just to see how the starters do.
Boise State has an intriguing game against New Mexico since the Lobos offense now has a passing dimension to go along with its running game that is quite solid.
Hawaii at Colorado State is a game that is more intrigue for the Rams who could be without wide receiver Rashard Higgins whose knee is banged up after the win over San Jose State.
Finally, the late night game features San Jose State vs. Fresno State. The Bulldogs want revenge over last year's loss which knocked them out of the BCS race, but realistically Fresno State wants to get this win to make it to a bowl game. Ditto for San Jose State who needs this win to possibly make it to a bowl game.
