Game preview: Aztecs' bowl hopes on the line against struggling Spartans
What to watch for: Very little yards through the air
This game features two of the strongest pass defenses in the country -- let alone the Mountain West. The Spartans allow the fewest passing yards per game in the country at 125.5. They'll play opposite an SDSU passing attack that hasn't quite found its groove this season (it performed very well last week against Air Force, though). SDSU boasts the country's 26th-best passing defense, allowing 197.4 passing yards per game. The young but impressive Aztec secondary will face a Spartan passing attack that has struggled mightily all year to replace David Fales.
