There are just a pair of weekends left in the Mountain West football as we enter Week 13 of play. This is the first week in a long time that there are no teams on a bye and every game is a conference game.
With two weeks left there are plenty of scenarios for the Mountain and West division to be won, and the most important game for a division title resides in Reno, Nevada, as the hometown Nevada Wolf Pack host the Fresno State Bulldogs. If Nevada wins they win the West, but Fresno State can win the West by topping the Wolf Pack but they also need to defeat Hawaii in the season finale.
In the Mountain, the top four contenders do not play each other so they need to win before a showdown in the final week of the season.
As for the timing of the games it is a shame that there are dueling games Friday night, a pre-noon local time kick as New Mexico travels to Colorado State and then there is a huge gap and then another pair of games going head-to-head in the 10 p.m. ET hour and for the late night folks who suffer from insomnia there is UNLV at Hawaii.
