After nine weeks of football action there is finally some clarity in the Mountain West, well at least on the Mountain side. Boise State is in control in the Mountain division and if they win out they win the division, but if they lose than Colorado State can win the Mountain.
On the other hand the West is a bit more difficult. San Diego State and San Jose State each have one loss and have not played each other yet. However, San Diego State takes on Nevada and if Nevada wins then that could cause a lot more trouble. For good measure, if San Jose State loses to Colorado State and Fresno State tops Wyoming then there will be five of the six teams in the West will have two loses. So, the West can really be seen as a mess if that happens this weekend and it is entirely possible.
