This week the Mountain West heads out of conference with two of the five games being non-league matchups. First up, is a Friday night game with Boise State hosting the BYU Cougars. This was a game that everyone was really looking forward to, but with BYU being bit hard by the injury bug this game has lost a lot of luster.
The other non-conference game has San Jose State traveling to the East Coast to take on Navy. Then the rest are conference games, including the Border War between Colorado State and Wyoming. Utah State vs. UNLV is interesting if for nothing else to see how new starting quarterback Craig Harrison looks in his first start in over a year.
