There are six games this week in Mountain West with the first game being a pretty big rivalry game with Fresno State traveling to Boise State on Friday night. This series has been dominated by Boise State and especially when the game is played on the blue turf.
This Saturday has five games and we don't have to wait until the evening hours to catch the Mountain West games. The first game has New Mexico traveling to Air Force for a mid-afternoon start, and nearly at the same time Wyoming hosts San Jose State. The latter game has bowl implications for both teams, and if the Spartans can get a win they will be in the thick of the West division race.
The big game of the week is Utah State and Colorado State. This game has more meaning for the Rams than the Aggies since Colorado State already has a loss in league play while Utah State does not. If Colorado State loses then they are more than likely out of the Mountain race, but the Aggies can afford a loss since they still get to play Boise State in the season finale. Regardless of the outcome of this is the game it is a much watch game.
