Mountain West championship game: TV schedule, odds, streaming

San Diego State and Wyoming face off at 6 p.m. ET and can be seen on CBS.

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

San Diego State and Wyoming are meeting for the third team in the Mountain West title game on Saturday afternoon, and for the Cowboys there is more on the line compared to the Aztecs.

Wyoming is in position where they must win this game to make the NCAA tournament, but San Diego State is playing for seeding and is a lock to make the field of 68. If the Cowboys do fall in this game they are likely heading to the NIT with 24 wins.

The Thomas & Mack Center should be a full house as both Wyoming and San Diego State brought a lot of fans to Las Vegas and expect the area to be loud.

The last time these two teams played Wyoming did not have Larry Nance, Jr. who was out with mono, and he played very well against Boise State with 20 points.

Wyoming will need to find a way to get buckets against San Diego State's suffocating defense, but the key difference could come down to the Cowboys defense making it difficult on the Aztecs offensively.

Odds: San Diego State is a six-point favorite
