Boise State vs. Utah State final score: Broncos hot hand proves to much for Aggies

Coming Boise State was 0 - 18 at the Spectrum but hot shooting from behind the arc quieted the home crowd and carried Boise to their first win ever in Logan

Instead of a recap tonight I almost went with just one vine:

Altough that would have been sufficient to explain the game, but more details couldn't hurt. Derrick Marks led the way for the Bronco's with 23 points and five boards. Boise State went 11 of 25 from behind the arc. David Collette paced the Aggies with 17 points, six rebounds and four blocks. Both teams were terrible at the free throw line with BSU shooting 53.8 percent  and Utah State 58.3 percent.

The Broncos opened the game quickly jumping out to a 14-8 lead before have to pull Marks who had picked up two early fouls. A quick 9-3 run led by Jalen Moore had the game tied at 17. Shortly after half Boise opened its largest lead of the game, at eight points, thanks to a three-pointer from Nick Duncan.  The Aggies managed to take only their second lead of the game with 8:14 left to play thanks ti five strait points from David Collette. In the end Derrick Marks proved to much and could not be stopped. His late long three (see above), the following Aggie turnover and dunk by James Webb sealed the game.

Up next for Boise State (16-6, 6-3 MW) they face a critical match at home when they take on SDSU Sunday night. Utah State (12-10, 5-5 MW) continue their difficult stretch of games as they travel to New Mexico this Saturday.
