Here's the blowout SDSU fans have been waiting for.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The San Diego State Aztecs (15-4, 5-1 Mountain West) made a season-record 13 3-pointers en route to their 77-45 win against the Air Force Falcons (8-10, 1-6 Mountain West). Aqeel Quinn made five of SDSU's 13 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 17 points. He also committed zero turnovers.

SDSU began this game on an absolute tear, knocking down seven of its first 10 3-point shots and stifling the Max-Yon-less Falcons on its way to a 41-18 halftime lead.

Winston Shepard entered halftime with 11 points, five rebounds and four assists. Even more impressive was Shepard's 3-3 line from long range, being as his struggle from beyond the arc was one of his biggest knocks coming into this season. He finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

Air Force fought their way back into the game somewhat in the first 10 minutes of the second half, but SDSU eventually took control of the game again and pushed its lead to 32 points.

The Aztecs shot 58 percent from the field. The Falcons shot 40 percent.

SDSU cracked 70 points for the first time since it scored 72 against San Diego Christian on Dec. 27.

The Aztecs next travel to play the Colorado State Rams (17-2, 4-2 MW) this Saturday at 7 p.m. PT.

The Falcons next host the Boise State Broncos (12-6, 2-3 MW) this Saturday at 11 a.m. PT.
