Game time: 2 p.m. Pacific Time, 5 p.m. Eastern Time

TV: ESPN3

Radio: SDSU broadcast is on The Mighty 1090 AM. There is no Air Force broadcast.

Odds: SDSU is favored by 13 points.

Game preview: Falcons face stiff Aztec defense

What to watch for: Air Force's 3-point shooting

It's no secret how the Falcons will try to win today: the 3-ball. In terms of size in the paint and rebounding, SDSU thoroughly outmatches them. But the Falcons make 39.6 percent of their 3-pointers, good for 27th-best in the country. The Aztecs, on the other hand, knock down just 28 percent of their 3s, good for 325th-best in the country. The last time Air Force topped SDSU in Colorado Springs in February 2013, the Falcons hit 12 long-range shots.

The 3-point shot is arguably the most reliable route to an upset, and the Falcons will be looking to do just that and ruin SDSU's New Year's Eve plans. But it will be much easier said than done, as the Aztecs allow opponents to shoot just 28.3 percent from long range, which is 28th-best in the country.

Watch Air Force drain long-ball after long-ball in these second-half highlights from its game against Arkansas Pine-Bluff.
