Boise State mens basketball team begins practice for the 2013-14 season.

The Boise State basketball scrimmage on Saturday ahead of the Boise State-Southern Miss football game marked the opening of basketball season in Taco Bell Arena. Last season the men's hoops program went 14-1 at home with an overall record of 21-11 that ended with a berth in the NCAA tournament. That same Broncos team returns nearly intact with all five starters.

The tipoff times and the television schedule for this season's games are displayed below and include nine conference and three nonconference home games. League play for the Broncos begins December 22, at Hawaii.

Third year head coach Leon Rice (56–41) will be seeking to take the Broncos to another NCAA tournament berth as a follow-up to last year’s highly successful season. That season ended with a loss to La Salle(71-80) in UD Arena, Dayton, OH in the Broncos’ sixth overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament and the team’s first ever at-large berth.
