Fresno State has gained some ground in the Week 5 USA Today Coaches Poll after taking care of Boise State Friday night in a 41-40 classic. Fresno State was No. 25 last week, but in the Week 5 poll the Bulldogs are now No. 23, and inching up even closer to a possible BCS berth. For that they have a lot of ground to make up, but luckily there is a lot more football to be played.
