Fresno State enters the AP poll at No. 25

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Fresno State joined the ranks in the AP poll as they are ranked No. 25 after they defeated Boise State in an epic 41-40 showdown Friday night. The AP poll doesn't have an effect on the BCS, but most consider it to be better than the coaches poll that may or may not be voted on by the coaches.

Fresno State is fairly close to Texas Tech and Wisconsin in total points, but No. 25 is a start.
