Colorado State lost starting running back Donnell Alexander in the first half with an undisclosed hand injury. Alexander left the game after the first series, but as of the now the exact injury is unknown. Prior to Alexander leaving the game he had 18 yards on two carries and another two catches for 11 yards.
The running situation is not hurting for Colorado State as they have Chris Nwoke and Kapri Bibbs. Nwoke had just six carries for six years while Bibbs had a big game with 15 carries for 70 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Depending on how long Alexander is out it can be a safe bet that Bibbs will be getting most of the carries.
