The Colorado St. Rams are trailing 10-3 and are struggling to move the ball against rival Colorado, and now they have some injury worries. Starting running back Donnell Alexander has left the game and is getting checked out in the locker room. His injury is pretty vague as it is being described as an upper body injury. His status and extent is currently not known.
So far in this game Alexander has been a source of offense for the Rams with 18 yards rushing on two carries and he has a pair of catches for 11 yards. Colorado State is fairly deep at the running back spot with Chris Nwoke next in line, and the two have been neck-and-neck all camp to be the starter. If Alexander is out for an extended period of time look for sophomore, and junior college transfer, Kapri Bibbs to see a few carries to mix up the style of play.
