News broke Saturday night from the Fresno State Rivals website that Arizona CB Bryan Harper was transferring to Fresno State, and he was already at practice on Sunday.

Harper and Fresno State freshman linebacker Temerick Harper share the same father. I spoke with the elder Harper at Fresno State's practice Saturday and he stated that the reason for his son's transfer was his mother's illness, and that they would be applying for a hardship waiver so that he could play this season instead of sitting out.
Harper was rated as a 3-star athlete by Rivals out of high school, with offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, and Washington, among others.
