The USC Trojans were planning on rotating two quarterbacks when they take the field late Thursday night against the Hawaii Warriors. USC will more than likely play two quarterbacks, but Lane Kiffin has announced who will start and that will be Cody Kessler. Kessler, a four-star prospect out of Bakersfield, Calif., played in 10 games in 2012 as a backup to Matt Barkley.
That does not mean that Max Wittek will not see the field against Hawaii, because Kiffin has been struggling on who to name as his starting signal caller all during fall camp. USC probably will not go series for series with the quarterbacks but they may go quarter for quarter to see what quarterback has what it takes in a real game scenario.
Hawaii is hopeful in this game as USC will be rotation quarterbacks and the fact that their top two running backs D.J. Morgan and Silas Redd are not playing in this game. The Warriors will still struggle to keep it close to USC on Thursday night.
