2013 Mountain West player rankings, No. 19 Wyoming WR Robert Herron

The 50 player countdown to the start of the 2013 college football season continues with No. 19.

The countdown of the 50 best Mountain West players continues with Wyoming wide receiver Robert Herron earning the No. 19 spot. Despite playing on a bad Wyoming team and playing in eight games, Herron is one of the most dangerous receivers in the Mountain West. Plus it helps to have a good quarterback in Brett Smith.

Herron was second in the league with eight touchdowns which came out to one per game, and he was the best deep threat in the league by averaging 21 yards per catch. His catch total was only 31, which comes out to just under four per game, and totaled 657 yards. That 31 catches to eight touchdown ratio is pretty amazing, and if Herron can get close to that production while playing the entire season he could be one of the best few wide outs in the league.
